Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga Title Song - Is As Beautiful As The Nostalgia Of The Original Song

The first song of Sonam Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga is finally out. The song is the title track of the movie and has been re-created from the original R.D. Burman composition that featured in 1942: A Love Story in 1994.

Directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar, the film is going to hit the theatres on 1^st February and has a whole element of nostalgic to it due to the presence of Anil Kapoor who is common to both 1942: A Love Story and this one, besides being touted as the most unexpected love story of the year. Seeing Anil Kapoor on screen is always a treat and Juhi just reminded us why we miss her on screen so much. Seeing them sharing screen space after so many years is magical in so many ways. It is reminiscent of the hits like Deewana Mastana and Loafer which brought this superhit 90s stars together. Their chemistry also has looks somewhat unique and we are sure there is an interesting story there in the film.

Every year, a horde of remakes make it a point to ruin the fond memories of the popular original tracks. However, this one is one remake that we are not so mad about, in fact, we quite like the melody of the song which has kept the essence of the original but added a nice spin to it. Sung by Darshan Raval and Rochak Kohli, the music of the song has been composed by Rochak Kohli with lyrics penned down by Gurpreet Saini.

Gives A Clear Idea Of The Feel Of The Film

The song does not reveal a lot about the film but is effectively able to establish the feel of the film. Going from poignant, to romantic to jubilant, the music of the song fits perfectly to the journey that every character is going through in the movie. Especially, the Punjabi influence comes across very strongly.
