34 Members Of Amitabh Bachchan's Staff Test Negative, Reports On 23 Awaited; Abhishek And Him To Stay In Hospital For 7 Days

Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 and shared the news making his millions of fans anxious. Following his diagnosis his son Abhishek Bachchan was also tested positive and they are both undergoing treatment at Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital. The following day Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aardya Bachchan tested positive too following which all four bungalows of the Bachchan were sanitised,  sealed and stamped as containment zones by BMC.

All members of the family’s staff at their four bungalows, Jalsa, Pratiksha, Janak and Vasta were tested soon after and according to the recent reports so far 34 have tested negative and results of 23 are still awaited as informed by Additional municipal commissioner Suresh Kakani to Mid-Day.

While Jaya Bachchan has tested negative she has been put under strict observation for symptoms. Meanwhile, a hospital official informs PTI that both Amitabh and Abhishek are stable and responding well to treatment. They will remain under observation for atleast seven days before they are discharged.

The hospital official was quoted by PTI saying, “They both are in the (isolation) ward and are clinically stable. At present, they do not require aggressive treatment. They are okay with the first line of medication. They are being given supportive therapy. Their vitals and appetite are fine.”
