Updated : May 08, 2020 12:53 PM ISTThe world woke up to sad news of the demise of one of India’s most versatile actors Irrfan Khan. It was the 29th of April ’20, when Irrfan breathed his last. Fans all across the globe started to mourn the loss and they paid their tribute to the late actor on social media as well.
And on this day, 8th May, ’20, just five years ago, one of his films Piku had released which also starred Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in main roles. He played the role of Bala Chaudhury in Piku and it was termed to Irrfan’s most subtle and gentle performance.
All the Irrfan Khan fans took to Twitter to show their love for the film which was about a road trip with a Dubai return owner of a cab company helping Riku played by Deepika Padukone to connect to her always nagging Bengali dad played by Amitabh Bachchan.
