'83: Ranveer Singh Starrer To Release On June 11th Or June 25th? Here's What We Know...

Two films that the audiences had eagerly been waiting for in the first half of 2020 were Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi and Kabir Khan's '83. Both the film, produced by Reliance Entertainment, were ready for release but was delayed due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Now that the world is coming back to normalcy, we are wondering when would these films hit the theatre. We might have the answer now.

Sooryavanshi, as insiders have been suggesting, would release on the 2nd of April in single screens and non National multiplex chains. Now, the tentative release date of '83 is out as well. If a report in Pinkvilla is to be believed, then the film would be releasing in June and the exact date might be 11th or 25th. A source said, "The team of ’83 is contemplating on two dates at present – June 11 and June 25. While the latter is the day when India won the world cup in 1983, the former is the first Friday post the IPL, which has conventionally become a lucrative window for a film’s release.”

However, the same term that dictates the release of Sooryavanshi would apply for '83 as well and Reliance is trying to negotiate with National multiplexes. Well, we hope that both Sooryavanshi and '83 releases in all theatres, and audiences get a chance to enjoy the filmy experience to the fullest.
