A. R. Rahman Takes A Dig At Masakali 2.0, Asks Fans To Enjoy The Original
A. R. Rahman Takes A Dig At Masakali 2.0
Updated : April 09, 2020 09:59 AM ISTThose who have a sense in music and have heard the originals would almost always disapprove of the remixes. Most songs released nowadays are actually revised versions of old classics and all they do is twist and bend the original to come up with the new one. In fact, more often than not, there’s a rap inserted in between. Tanishk Bagchi has become one of the infamous composers for doing so. Earlier, he mand Baadshah were criticized for the remix of Humma song by A.R. Rahman. Now, the music director did it again, this time with the famous Masakali song from Delhi 6.
Looks like A.R. Rahman isn’t very pleased either like most of us, and he decided to be vocal about it. Taking to his Twitter handle, he asked fans to enjoy the original Masakali and wrote, “’No short cuts, properly commissioned, sleepless nights, writes and re-writes. Over 200 musicians, 365 days of creative brainstorming with the aim to produce music that can last generations. A team of Director, a Conposer and a Lyricist supported by actors, dance directors and a relentless film crew. Lots of love and prayers, A.R. Rahman” Check out his tweet here:
