Actors From Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam Film Industry Come Together To Bring Relief To Flood Affected Kerala

The whole country has been watching nature take a fierce turn in Kerala and the pictures of the beautiful state being ravaged by incessant rain and flood have been constant on news channels. While the government of Kerala has started a relief fund and actors from all over the country has been donating generously and doing their bit to support the relief aid.

Here is what stars are doing to help Kerala get back up on its feet.

Dulquer Salman and Mamoothy

Dulquer Salman and his dad superstar Mamoothy shared emergency contact numbers on their twitter handle to help the rescue procedure. Mamoothy also visited the flood-affected areas to show solidarity with those affected.

Superstar Mohanlal has also donated 25 lakhs to the Chief Minister’s relief fund and urged other to generously contribute as well.

Prabhas and Ram Charan

Telugu superstar donated 1 crore to the relief fund. Superstar Ram Charan also donated a generous 60 lakhs to help the flood victims.

Allu Arjun

Allu Arjun n pledged to donate a generous amount of 25 lakhs to aid in flood relief.

Kamal Hassan and Vijay TV

Tamil superstar and Vijay together donated a generous amount of 50 lakhs to help the relief and rescue procedure.

Suriya and Karthik

Tamil stars Suriya and Karthik also donated 25 lakhs each for the relief fund.

Prithviraj

The mother of this Malayalam superstar was trapped inside the actor’s Kochi home. Thankfully, she has finally been rescued. The actor has pledged to donate money for the relief campaign.

Manju Warrier

The superstar actress visited Kuttanad, which is one of the worst affected areas and distributed fresh clothes, vegetables and grocery to relied camps.

Vijay Deverakonda

Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda who became a huge hit after his film Arjun Reddy also donated 5 lakhs for the relief campaign and also shared this heartfelt message.

Other South Indian film stars from Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam stars Aju Varghese, Jayaram, Vishal and many more donated generously for the relief fund. Actors like Tovino Thomas, Reema Kallingal, Vinakayan, and others shared videos to raise awareness for the relief fund and urged people to donate generously.
