Aditya Roy Kapur’s OM: The Battle Within To Go On Floors In December; Deets Inside

Birthday boy Aditya Roy Kapur is currently soaring high on the success of his latest release Ludo on Netflix. The film has received great reviews and his performance has also been lauded. Well, on the occasion of his 35^th birthday, Zee Studios has officially announced his next film titled OM: The Battle Within. Co-produced by Zee, Ahmed Khan and his wife Shaira, the action entertainer will mark the directorial debut of action director Tinu Verma's son, Kapil Verma.

The film is all set to roll by early December and is expected to hit theatres in the second half of 2021. In a chat with Mumbai Mirror, Aditya opened up about the same and shared, “Last year, around this time, I was juggling between the shoots of Malang and Ludo. Both films got me a lot of appreciation. Covid notwithstanding, this year has been a special one on the work front. I have been living with OM since the last few months now, and I am looking forward to the journey.”

The actor has reportedly been learning different action forms during the lockdown and has beefed up for the action scenes. Ahmed revealed that OM revolves around emotionally disturbed relationships in the line of duty and feels that Aditya is the perfect fit for the character.
