After Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher’s Mother, Brother, Sister-In-Law And Niece Test Positive For COVID-19

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan left the nation in a state of shock last night after they announced that they have tested positive for novel coronavirus. The father-son duo was admitted to Nanavati hospital on 11^th July and the latest update from the hospital states that the two are now stable with mild symptoms. Fans were still digesting the news when veteran actor Anupam Kher took to his social media handle to reveal that his family members have tested positive for COVID-19.

Through a video on Twitter, Anupam revealed that his mother, brother, sister-in-law and niece have tested positive for novel coronavirus while he was tested negative. He shared: “This is to inform all that my mother Dulari is found Covid + (Mildly). We have admitted her into Kokilaben Hospital. My brother, bhabhi & niece inspite of being careful have also tested mildly positive.I got myself tested as well & I have tested negative. @mybmc is informed.!”

Within a few minutes, the comment section of Anupam Kher’s post was flooded with blessings and prayers from fans and celebrities, wishing his family a speedy recovery. While Sonam commented: “Hope all get well soon” with a heart and fingers crossed emoji, Raveena Tandon wrote: “Wishing dulaari aunty and the family a speedy recovery!
