Updated : March 22, 2020 06:08 PM ISTAmid the coronavirus outbreak that has taken the world by storm, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked citizens to stay home and follow Janata Curfew on 22nd March from 7am to 9pm. He also requested the people of our nation to step out into their balconies at 5pm in the evening and clap or ring bells to show appreciation to the real heroes who are working hard and fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Along with the entire nation, Bollywood celebrities such as Deepika Padukone, Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, Kartik Aaryan, Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan and many others stepped out into their balconies or roofs and clapped for the corona warriors who are putting their life into danger day and night to help patients. The stars also took to their social media handles to share the beautiful view featuring them and their neighbors, standing together against COVID-19. Take a look:
