Akshay Kumar Urges Fans To Donate For Assam Floods

Akshay Kumar is all set for his next Independence Day release, Mission Mangal, the trailer of which dropped today. He, along with co-stars Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menen were spotted during the trailer launch of the film. All the cast members looked happy to launch the trailer of their upcoming film, which was appreciated by most.
During the trailer launch, the actor, who has made it to the list of highest paid actors by Forbes, was asked about donations for Assam flood. Assam and Bihar are currently flooded due to heavy rainfall and the situation in Assam has been extremely grim, with many people having lost their lives and properties. The actor then spoke about how he has been extremelky affected by the news. Akshay said that he feeels lucky that he or his family has not been in the situation, but they could also have been affected. He then urged fans to donate, even if they can afford a small amount, instead of taking to social media and writing comments like “feeling sad” or “feeling heartbroken”. Check out the video here:
