Arjun Rampal Arrives At The NCB Office After His Girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades Questioned Two Days In A Row

Arjun Rampal has arrived for questioning at the NCB office today in relation to Bollywood drug racket the central agency is trying to bust. The actor was snapped outside the NCB Zonal Office in Mumbai where he arrived close to 11:30 am in the morning after his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades who questioned two days in a row on Wednesday and Thursday for hours at a stretch.

Rampal’s summon for questioning came after his house was raided by the NCB official on Monday where they recovered a medicinal drug banned under the NDPS Act without a valid prescription. According to reports Arjun has been asked by the agency to furnish a valid prescription to justify the presence of the drug at his apartment.

A Mid-Day report has claimed that the drug procured from Arjun’s home is called the ‘ISIS drug’ or ‘fighter drug’ which was banned by the Ministry of Finance in 2018 under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. While The NCB has refused to comment on the nature of the procurement the report quotes an official saying, “At the time of the search, we didn’t find any valid prescription, and nothing was shown to us (by Rampal) either. If he brings a prescription on Friday, the same will be thoroughly examined to ascertain if it’s genuine and who prescribed it to him and why.”
