Recently the channel announced that Ramayan has smashed viewership records worldwide to become the most watched entertainment show in the world with 7.7 crore viewers, beating some of the most-loved series including Game Of Thrones.

Arun Govil, who portrayed the role of Lord Ram in the series, reacted to the good news in a chat with Pinkvilla and shared that he is very happy for all the people associated with the show. He went on to add, “Because such a nice thing has happened and such a huge thing has happened, I am happy because of everything, given it is supposed to be the best show across the world at the moment.”

On the other hand, Dipika Chikhlia aka Sita revealed that she herself is a Game Of Thrones fan and went on to say that seeing her show getting more views feels absolutely surreal. She also thinks that it’s the millennials who are watching Ramayan now.
