Ashutosh Rana Tests Positive For COVID-19

The number of COVID-19 cases has been on a sharp rise for almost a month now. The situation has become very grim, and the Maharastra government has even announced that all shoots would be halted from 8 pm today till the 1st of May. Many celebs have also contracted the novel virus. Now, yet another celeb has fallen pray to it, despite taking his first dose of the vaccine just a week back! We are talking about Ashutosh Rana.

The actor, who was last seen in Umesh Bisht's Pagglait, took to his social media to share the news with his well-wishers and fans. Writing in Hindi, he extended wishes for Chaitra New Year and revealed that it was on this auspicious day that he got to know that the virus has gotten into his body. He sees this as a sign to get better and also asked fans to get tested if they feel any symptoms. See the post here:

The actor, along with his spouse Renuka Shahane, had taken the first jab of COVID-19 vaccine on the 6th of April. Apart from him, Nagma and Ramesh Taurani had also tested positive despite getting the vaccine. Many celebs, including Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Govinda, were recently affected by the virus.
