Bappi Lahiri Health Update: Music Composer Is Now Stable, Is Responding Well To Medication

Bappi Lahiri is one of the celebs who contracted COVID-19 in the second wave. A day back, his daughter had confirmed that the music composed had tested positive to the virus and has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. Things worsened and his son informed later yesterday that Bappi da had to be shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Now, we have an update on his health.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Bappi Lahiri's condition is now stable. The composer and singer's son shared, “He’s doing very well today (Friday). He is cheerful and raring to return home. He’s responding well to the medication.” He further shared that Mappi da had been sad about being isolated, but they found a way and are now always connected to him via video calls.

Bappi Lahiri's son had told yesterday. "The reason for concern is, he already has a pulmonary condition. He is in Breach Candy hospital. We can’t meet him. He is under Dr. Udwadia’s supervision. We are relieved that he is getting the best care possible.” We are also elated that the singer is recovering fast and responding well to the medication. May he get well soon and return back to his family as soon as possible.
