Akshay Kumar and the makers of Bell Bottom have taken a substantial risk by releasing the espionage thriller in cinema halls. All eyes in the industry rest on the performance of this film which will further pave the way for Bollywood releases waiting in the wings since the pandemic set in. Well, the faith of the makers in Bell Bottom seems to be paying off as the audiences who have watched the film so far in theatres on day one are loving it.
Inspired by true events, the movie is set in the ‘80s and is the story of a spy on a rescue mission and the target is a hijacked airplane. Viewers of the film are heaping praises on Akshay and Lara Dutta for their performances with many calling the film ‘paisa vasool’ and a ‘blockbuster’.
Bell Bottom opened to fairly positive reviews and hopefully, the word of mouth helps this film revive the box office. For a few, the film even represented hope for the revival of Bollywood. The first-day box office reports of Bell Bottom will be in on Friday.
Directed by Ranjit Tiwari, Bell Bottom also stars Huma Qureshi and Vanni Kapoor.

For what one would want to see in one of these kinds of movies, it was perfect. Had great screen writing, incredible acting by @akshaykumar, and had the innate ability to draw the viewers into the intricate plot sequences. A Must Watch!!
