Bhumi Reveals She Is Scared To Resume Shoots

However, Lockdown 5 has enabled filmmakers to restart the shoots that were halted midway. The government has sent 16-pager guidelines to the respective bodies to be followed while they resume shoots.
Recently, in a conversation with Pinkvilla, Bhumi Pednekar opened up about her apprehensions about resuming shoot given the spike in the number of cases in the last few days.
To this, the Saand Ki Aankh actress replied that she truly believes the country has experts who are guiding them through this worldwide outbreak of the pandemic. She is proud of the fact that the population has managed to handle this pandemic very efficaciously.
She has been quoted by the portal as saying, "It is scary, I won't lie. I also had apprehensions on how will I shoot, because it is such an intimate environment on a film set but you have got to do, what you have to. We will figure it out, we will do it collectively. If we just abide by the protocols that the Government has listed, I think it truly will make life easier than we think. We have to put money back in the economy, right? There are so many people whose livelihood is dependent on that one day of work I do." She told Pinkvilla.
At the same time, the actress also revealed how she is proud of the fact that the film fraternity came together to make a contribution towards impeding the spread of the virus, “We as actors and a community have come together beautifully to help each other on individual levels but that is all we can do. Our contribution will not uplift the economy. You have daily wage earners who are scared that they will die of starvation than the disease. Seeing them come out, I feel emboldened too. I am ready, we have to do this.”
