Updated : August 12, 2020 06:49 PM ISTIt was in the last week that Sanjay Dutt was admitted to the Lilavati hospital after he had complained of breathlessness and chest pain. Later, he had tested negative for COVID-19 and thereafter he was discharged from the hospital as well.
It was since last night that the media was replete with Sanjay Dutt’s lung cancer diagnosis and since then, social media is rife with good wishes for the actor. The fans are upset and the Bollywood industry is distraught with the news especially after his official announcement about taking a break from films was circulated in the media.
Actress Manisha Koirala who is a cancer survivor herself took to her official Twitter handle and shared a heart-warming wish for the ailing actor.
She wrote, “Sadden to hear about your health challenge dear baba @duttsanjay .. but I know you are tougher !! There has been tremendous struggles in your life and you overcame them, this too shall be yet another win .. praying for your well-being

Sanjay Dutt and Manisha Koirala worked in many films together be it Baaghi, Sanam, Prassthanam, Kartoos and the actress also played the role of Nargis Dutt, the real life mother of Sanjay Dutt in the Raj Kumar Hirani directorial Sanju which was fronted by Ranbir Kapoor.
