Chehre: Anand Reveals If Rhea Will Promote Film; Says ‘Don’t Think With Big B & Emraan Present, We Would Need Anyone Else’

Rhea Chakraborty has been in the news for the past one year ever since her boyfriend and actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden demise on 14^th June 2020. She was accused of abetment of his suicide and was also arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau for her alleged involvement in a drug case. Well, after everything that happened, many began to think that her career in films was over. Her absence from the poster of her upcoming film Chehre further left tongues wagging. However, Rhea was present in the trailer and producer Anand Pandit later clarified that she’s very much a part of the film.

Well, the new question in all our minds is if Rhea will be joining her co-stars Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan on the promotion spree of the film. Answering the question in a chat with Spotboye, Anand stated, “As far as promotions are concerned, it’s our team that will decide who is needed for that. I don’t think with Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi present, we would need anyone else for the promotions.”

He went on to add, “I don’t want to use Rhea’s situation for my commercial benefit at this point of time. If she is comfortable, we will give her some part in the promotional activities, but if she is not comfortable, then also it’s okay.”

The film has been pushed a few times due to the pandemic, but makers are still eyeing a theatrical release in the next few months. Let’s see what happens.
