Updated : July 07, 2021 03:20 PM ISTLegendary actor Dilip Kumar passed away today at the age of 98 in Mumbai due to age-related issues. He had been a part of the industry for decades and had started acting back in the 40s. Needless to say, with him an era came to an end. Celebs took to social media to pay tribute to the legend, and so did Prime Minister Narendra Modi. From Ajay Devgn to Akshay Kumar and Manoj Bajpayee, several celebs poured their last tribute for the Dilip Kumar saab.
The PM wrote, "Dilip Kumar Ji will be remembered as a cinematic legend. He was blessed with unparalleled brilliance, due to which audiences across generations were enthralled. His passing away is a loss to our cultural world. Condolences to his family, friends and innumerable admirers. RIP."
