Ex-Bigg Boss Contestants Ashmit Patel, Maheck Chahal Call Off Engagement Due To Compatibility Issues

The handsome Ashmit Patel and the gorgeous Maheck Chahal have decided to part ways after dating for 5 long years. Participants in different seasons of the popular reality show Bigg Boss, the two had been acquaintances for 14 years and bonded when the television actress joined Ashmit’s gym. They started working out together and one rainy day when the actor offered to drop her home, they realized their love for each other while having bhutta at Carter Road.

According to a report in Bombay Times, a source revealed, “They got engaged in August 2017, and were planning a destination wedding a year later. However compatibility issues cropped up and so, they decided to push the wedding. Things gradually deteriorated, and a few months ago, they finally parted ways.” Confirming the news, Maheck said, “I left Ashmit. I had to take that step and walk out.” Ashmit also stated, “It’s true that we are no longer together. I would request privacy on this matter, and would not like to comment.”

While Maheck participated in Bigg Boss season 5, Ashmit was a contestant on the 4^th season of the reality show. He was involved with Veena Malik on the show and even though none of them had confirmed their relationship, their bond made many headlines back then.
