Well, the day after tomorrow happens to be International Women’s Day. It is a day when the world celebrates womanhood. To felicitate the occasion in our own way, we at Desimartini exclusively got in touch some celebrity women who have shared their inspiring life experiences on ‘Amazon’s Audible Suno’. We spoke to them about what is their life-mantra and how did their perspective shape up and this is what Katrina Kaif, Taapsee Pannu, Neena Gupta Tahira Kashyap Khurrana had to say. Each of these women had a different phase and POV of life to speak on-

Katrina Kaif: “If you are weak at something or if you don’t understand something then search for answers. Don’t just sit and accept. I’m not much of an accepting person of uncomfortable and unhappy situations”

Taapsee Pannu: “I accepted that I am average and embraced it so that no one could use it against me. When my agency told me that nobody would like to meet me even after my first decent break in Bollywood. I decided to come down to Bombay and make my own way. Many thought I was desperate, but I just wanted to try my own luck and quit on my own terms.”

Neena Gupta: “Tyaag ki murti bann na band karo, tyaag ki murti bann ne se kisko nuksaan hai? Aapko. Kisko faayeda hai? Aap ko nahin hai, doosro ko faayeda hai. This tyaag ki murti business is a bad business” 

Mouni Roy: “Marriage is about getting the right partner, and not necessarily at the right age defined by the society”

Tahira Kashyap Khurrana: “ I believe that each one of us has a treasure house that we can tap into in case we are faced with an obstacle, and in case we do tap into this obstacle and don't go defeated you will realise and be shocked to find the courage, resilience and wisdom that each one of us possess. Each one of us is unique, each one of us is special with our own mission in life that nobody else can accomplish except us”
