Fatima Sana Shaikh Opens Up About Aruvi Remake, Hopes That People Would Like This Version

Reports had been doing the rounds for quite some time that Fatima Sana Shaikh would be a part of the Hindi remake of the 2017 Tamil film, Aruvi. The Aditi Bhatia film was loved by one and all. Now, it looks like the rumour is indeed true. Fatima Sana Shaikhhad also confirmed the same. Now, she has opened up about the project

Talking to ETimes, Fatima said, “At this point I can just say that it is a very interesting subject and a very interesting film. It is about this girl and her journey. Frankly, I haven’t picked up this film thinking if it is based on my character or not. I am only focusing on the fact that I have to play the part with full honesty. As an actor I can only work towards doing the role diligently. I hope people like it.”

This would be the first female-led film that Fatima, who has been part of several big-budget and hit films, would be a part of. She further added, “I am so glad this project has come to me as there are very few projects where you feel ki yaar yeh toh mujhe hi karna hai. After watching the film I felt that I want to be a part of this project. I know what I am getting into. Even though this is a remake I am sure there will be some freshness introduced to it and I will do my best to add in my own flavor too.” We are eager to see the Hindi version of Aruvi.
