Rangoli Speaks Up Against Filmfare Awards 2020

This is one of the oldest awards in Bollywood and despite many allegations of the award being given to only those who attend it; it still holds a special position in the hearts of the audiences. This year’s ceremony was dominated by Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, that bagged the maximum number of awards. But looks like not everyone is happy.
Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel feels that the entire ceremony was ‘nepotism ka nanga naach’. She pointed out that it was not just Kangana Ranaut who was snubbed at the ceremony, but others like Nitesh Tiwary, Ankita Lokhande and Chhichhore were also snubbed. In a series of tweets, she also disappointment over the best lyricst award. She also wrote, “Harrasment and suppression of real hard working talent, celebration of mediocrity over extraordinary cinema is why Kangana takes movie mafia class and slaps them on their faces...
