This Indian Origin Actress Tests Positive For Coronavirus
Updated : March 19, 2020 03:26 PM ISTIndian origin actor Indira Varma who received immense popularity for the portrayal of her character in the Game of Thrones revealed she tested positive for COVID-19 Coronavirus.
The actress portrayed the role of Ellaria Sand in the series and has also been a part of several other shows including the likes of Broken News, Paranoid amongst others. She had also played a pivotal role in the Mira Nair directorial Kama Sutra that starred Rekha in the lead.
The actress took to her social media account and wrote, “So sad our and so many other shows around the world have gone dark affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. We hope to be back soon and urge you all (and the govt) to support us when we do.Phoenix/ Seagull rising from the ashes. I’m in bed with it and it’s not nice. Stay safe and healthy and be kind to your fellow people.”
