Govinda Reacts To Reports Of Him Supporting KRK Against Salman Khan, Has Issues Of His Own With The Critic

Kamaal R Khan, who is once again in the center of controversy this time involving Salman Khan, is making the most of all the attention he’s getting. In open rebellion against Salman after the actor slapped him with a defamation suit, KRK dragged in Govinda’s name thanking him for his support in the case recently.

While Govinda and Salman are not as close as they once used to be, the Coolie No. 1 actor has now responded to KRK using his name in the matter and rubbished all claims of having the self styled film critic’s back.

Govinda said that KRK has in fact made some ‘unfit statements’ about him in the past. “I read some media reports about me backing KRK. I am not in touch with KRK for years altogether — no meetings, no phone calls, and no messages. It could be some other person by the same name as I am not being tagged in the tweet. In fact, the self-proclaimed critic had spoken and written unfit statements about me and my movies in the past,” he told IANS.

The actor further said that his name was even dragged into the news reports about Kartik Aaryan losing films. “I do not even know in depth the exact problems between Salman and KRK but my name has been dragged in the matter. A similar attempt was made by another film critic Komal Nahata who also took my name in an issue concerning Kartik Aaryan losing a couple of films. Both the attempts seem like an agenda by a demented mind aimed to create nuisance amidst the unprecedented pandemic times,” he added.
