In 1969, Amitabh Bachchan made his debut in Bollywood as one of the seven protagonists in the film Saat Hindustani at the age of 27. After struggling for many years and being tagged as a 'failed newcomer’, the actor transformed into a megastar thanks to his hard-work, talent and passion. He gave Indian cinema some of its most prominent masterpieces and became an idol for many. Today, Big B is celebrating his 78^th birthday and even after all these years, he is still one of the most sought-after superstars of the industry.

Ever since the clock struck 12, social media has been showering with love and appreciation for the megastar.
