HBO Announces Game Of Thrones Prequel House Of Dragon

Game of Thrones is surely one of the most popular TV shows ever and has had a cult following for all it ten seasons. While the ending left most of the fans miffed with the show and the showrunners, fans were still waiting with bated breath for the prequel that was announced.

Well, the wait is over and HBO has finally announced the prequel that would be called House Of Dragons. As the name suggests, the prequel would be based on House Targaryen and will trace their history 300 years prior to Daenerys and the timeline of Westeros in Game of Thrones.

 Talking about the matter, HBO programming president Casey Bloys said, “ The Game of Thrones universe is so rich with stories. We look forward to exploring the origins of House Targaryen and the earlier days of Westeros along with Miguel, Ryan, and George.”

The story of the show will be loosely based on Fire And Blood written by, of course, George RR Martin, however, Game of Thrones’ David Benioff and DB Weiss is not going to be a part of the show after their split.
