Hrithik-Tiger's War Opens At Nearly 4000 Screens, Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy, Dream Girl And Chhichhore To Suffer Bad!

So, in the previous week, Yash Raj Films issued a notice to all the three-screens, four-screens and five-screen multiplexes about the number of shows they wanted WAR to get! Anil Thadani who is distributing Syeraa Narshima Reddy also distributed SAAHO. That was when he had asked the same multiplexes to give him the maximum number of screens for Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy as well and he warned them if he didn’t get maximum screens for Sye Raa he would not be screening Saaho at their multiplexes!

However, the exhibitors decided to follow the trend of the national multiplex chains during screen allocation between WAR and Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy. A Bollywood Hungama report quotes a source as saying, “two-screen multiplexes have allocated one show to Sye Raa, three-screen multiplexes have allocated two shows, and four-screen multiplexes have assigned three shows while the lion’s share has been taken up by War.”

Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy, Dream Girl and Chhichhore will be hit badly. While Dream Girl and Chhichhore will be taken off from the screens tomorrow and they will be shown in a very few multiplexes. The same report states, an approximate screen count for WAR is 4000.

Now what will be interesting to see is with Sye Raa and WAR releasing on the same day, which film will manage to pique the interest of the viewers!
