Javed Akhtar Sues Kangana Ranaut For Defamation With No Scope For An Out Of Court Settlement: Reports

Legal troubles for actress Kangana Ranaut are piling on. After multiple F.I.Rs in her name for hurting sentiments through her tweets and her ongoing battle against the Maharashtra government and the BMC that latest is that reportedly lyricist Javed Akhtar has filed a defamation suit against the Manikarnika actress.

The suit was filed after Kangana allegedly claimed that Javed Akhtar threatened her not to speak of her relationship with Hrithik Roshan after he summoned her to his home. A source close to the writer informs Spotboye that no such threats were issued and after Kangana’s repeatedly mentioning this he decided to take her to court with no scope for a settlement.

“Javed Saab is by nature very tolerant. But this was going on for too long. Remedial action had to be taken. Javed Saab has filed an elaborate defamation case against Kangana,” the source informed the portal.

The report also mentions that Javed Akhtar is ready for a long drawn case in court.

Kangana Ranaut alleged relationship with actor Hrithik Roshan has been a matter of controversy for a long while now. The actress claimed that she was dating the Super 30 actor while he has repeatedly denied all such claims.
