Juhi Resorted To Indian High Commission For Safe Return
Updated : April 01, 2020 05:46 PM ISTMany celebrities were travelling abroad during the initial phase of coronavirus crisis in our country and one amongst them was actress Juhi Chawla. She along with her husband Jay Mehta and her children were out on a vacation to Austria since they had scheduled it on 1st March 2020 and then it would have been a London vacation for the family.
It was during an interaction with a daily that Juhi opened up about the situation in Austria. She revealed while they were still in Austria things started to change for the worse and when they reached London the Indian government had called for the Janata curfew that also had restrictions imposed on international flights. Now, because by then the coronavirus had already hit India, the passengers were being screened thoroughly at the airport and it was made mandatory to stay indoors for 15 days as a precautionary measure.
Juhi revealed, that while they were still in London, they reached out to the Indian high commission for help and they assured they would help them travel back to Mumbai safely. Juhi and her family returned on 20th March ’20 and it is since then that they are quarantined.
