Updated : April 17, 2021 10:43 AM ISTOne of the biggest and most talked about events in the Hindi film industry yesterday was Kartik Aaryan’s exit from Dostana 2. While some reports suggested that he walked out of the project because of creative differences, others claimed that he was ‘kicked out’ due to alleged unprofessional behavior. Sometime later an official announcement was shared by filmmaker Karan Johar’s production house Dharma Productions which read, “Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain a dignified silence - we will be recasting Dostana 2, directed by Collin D'Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon.”

This news took social media by storm and left many hearts broken. Well amongst many other netizens, actress Kangana Ranaut came out in support of Kartik. Calling KJo a ‘drama queen’ and comparing the actor to Sushant Singh Rajput, the actress tweeted: “Kartik no need to be scared of these chillars.... after doing nasty articles and releasing announcements blaming only your attitude for fall out this moron wants to maintain dignified silence.
