Kangana Ranaut Writes 'Ek Thi Sherni ...' Reacting To Javed Akhtar's Defamation Suit Against Her

Actress Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday landed in another legal trouble after lyricist Javed Akhat filed a criminal complaint against her for making defamatory remarks against him on national television. According to the complaint Akhtar has alleged that Kangana named him to be a part of the Bollywood nexus while commenting on the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and also alleged that he heartened her against speaking about her relationship with actor Hrithik Roshan.

The complaint was made before the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate by the noted lyricist who seeks legal action under various sections of the Indian Penal Code for tarnishing his reputation.

The actress has now reacted to the complaint in a tweet suggesting that she’s not deterred by the complaint in the least and wrote, “Ek thi Sherni … aur ek bhediyon ka jhund.” Her reaction was on a tweet made by politician Sanjay Raut who wrote about Javed Akhtar’s defamation suit against her.

Kangana and Raut have been at loggerheads since he asked her to leave Mumbai after her tweets seeking justice for Sushant Singh Rajput and escalated after she compared the city to Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

The actress is also facing multiple legal battles for allegedly hurting religious sentiments and spreading communal hatred through her tweets. In a particular case filed by a casting director and gym trainer the actress and her sister have been summoned for questioning on November 10.
