Kanika Kapoor’s Brother Says She’s Fine; Reveals None Of The People She Came In Contact With Have Tested Positive

On March 20^th, Baby Doll singer Kanika Kapoor revealed that she has tested positive for novel coronavirus. She was later booked by the UP Police for committing a negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life. After testing positive 5 times, Kanika finally tested negative in her 6^th test on Sunday and was discharged on Monday from the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences. She is currently staying with her parents in their Lucknow residence.

In a recent chat with Spotboye, Kanika’s brother Anurag shared that the singer is doing well now. He said, “Yes, Kanika is back. We all are very happy. She is doing fine now.” When asked if the doctors have asked her to take any precautions, Anurag replied, “No, none. She is absolutely fine.” He went on to reveal, “We are glad Kanika has recovered and what's even better is that none of the people who she came in contact with have tested positive.”

After returning from London, Kanika was advised by authorities to quarantine herself at home for 14 days to avoid any risks amid the coronavirus outbreak. However, it was reported that instead of practicing self-isolation, the singer attended at least 3 parties in Lucknow including one gathering where political leaders were present.
