Kapil Sharma says Kartik Aaryan is following his career
Updated : November 17, 2021 08:32 PM ISTKartik Aaryan is the next guest on The Kapil Sharma Show with Mrunal Thakur and Amrita Subhash and their banter with the celebrity host is sure to crack you up. The actors will be seen promoting their film Dhamaka but from the promo of the show it looks like Kapil Sharma has a bone to pick with Bollywood’s rising star.
The comedian after introducing Kartik says that first, the actor copied him by doing Pati Patni Aur Woh since Kapil’s film Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Krun had shown him having three wives, he followed it up by saying that after he did a comedy special for Netflix, the actor too followed him to the platform with his film Dhamaka which releases this weekend. Kapil asks the actor, “Toh aapne soch rakh hai ki sirf top stars ko follow kareinge?” making Kartik crack up.

The comedian however also lauded Kartik for taking away Akshay Kumar’s film since Akshay took away a brand endorsement from Kapil last year. He joked that Akshay has done a ‘three year course in stealing projects,’ but added that Kartik was able to steal a film from the actor referring to Bhool Bhulaiya 2 in which Kartik stars with Kiara Advani.
Kartik, however, replied saying, “Main toh unn bandon ko dhundh raha hoon jo mere producers ko bol rahe hain ki 100-50 kam dedo lekin Kartik ki picture mujhe dedo (I am looking for those people who are approaching my producers to take away my films).”
The actor’s Dhamaka releases on Netflix on November 19. Apart from the film the actor is ready to serve his fans a variety with films like Captain India, a love story by Sameer Vidwans, Bhool Bhulaiya 2, Freddy and Shehzada.
