Kirti Kulhari Reveals Why She Did Not Want To Play A Single Mother For Four More Shots Please – Season 2

In the television and the film industry becoming cast is a very common phenomenon! When producers and directors see a particular actor essaying a particular kind of role very often, he or she automatically becomes the top of the mind choice when it comes to the same kind of roles. Well, this was the apprehension why actress Kirti Kulhari who will be part of Four More Shots Season 2 didn’t want to play the role of a mother. She was scared of getting typecast!

The actress spoke at length about what her issues with the role were and admitted that she was extremely cautious about being cast. In a recent media interaction, Keerti opened up about the same, "After reading the script, I was sceptical about how well they position something that's palatable but at the same time make a bold statement? Another big concern for me was the fact that I had to play a mother. I wasn't ready for this and I had the fear of being typecast into that role, which has been quite prevalent in the industry."

She further contended, that the role would actually affect her image and this was the reason why she didn’t want to take it up but then she also revealed that it was because of her husbands that she finally did it. “I kept questioning whether I should take the plunge and play a role, which could probably change my image and affect the of work or opportunity that could come my way. It was my husband who finally gave me the confidence to do this. He is solely responsible for reminding me that I am first and foremost an actor and I just have to push my own boundaries and be the change that I keep talking about," Kirti disclosed.
