Manav Gohil Is Glad To Be Admitted To A Hospital After Testing Positive For COVID-19, Here's What He Has To Say

TV actor Manav Gohil had tested positive for COVID-19 some weeks back. The actor had also shared a picture of his from the hospital shortly after sharing that he had tested positive for coronavirus.  Now, in a recent interview, he has revealed that he is glad that he was admitted to the hospital.

Talking to ETimes, Manav revealed, “Since I was shooting for the show, I was being tested regularly. Then one day, on my weekly off, I felt like I was running a fever. I thought it was due to exertion, but by the end of the day, I got to know that my driver had tested positive for COVID-19. I isolated myself in a room immediately and when I got myself tested the next day, the report came positive. Soon, I lost my sense of taste and smell and the fever continued for a week.”

He also added that he did not want to go to the hospital, but had to do so on wife Shweta's insistence. He said, “When Shweta kept asking me to check with our doctor whether I needed to get a CT scan done, I thought she was panicking unnecessarily. It was later that I realised how crucial time is to fight the virus. I could get the right care at the right time. Had I been at home, things would probably have been worse. I was in the hospital for 10 days.”

Well, we are happy that the actor is now doing well.
