Mika Singh Shouts ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’

The future of the relationship between these two neighbouring nation is now hanging by a thread, especially after Article 15 was scrapped off and now when talks of change in ‘no first use nuclear policy’. Well, amidst all these tension, singer Mika decided to perform in Pakistan. Needless to say, this wasn’t taken well by Indians. In fact, the All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) even submitted a petition to ban the singer!
Well, yesterday was India’s 73rd Independence Day and on this occasion, Mika had been to the Wagah border. When he saw the crowd, he shouted ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’! Sharing the video, Mika wrote,
Bharat Mata ki Jai! Thank you everyone for such a warm welcome. Happy Independence Day once again and salute to our jawans. They aren’t able to celebrate any festival, all to make our lives better. Jai hind..
