He was the king of OTT with exciting releases such as Ghoomketu on ZEE5, Raat Akeli Hai and Serious Men on Netflix. Well, 2021 is looking equally exciting for the talented and versatile actor. According to latest reports, Nawazuddin is in talks with makers of Thalapathy 65 to play the antagonist in the Vijay starrer.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the project will mark Thalapathy Vijay’s 65th film and hence has tentatively been titled Thalapathy 65. In a report shared by Pinkvilla, a source revealed, “Thalapathy 65 has a very important role for the antagonist and the makers thought that Nawaz fits the part well. The actor has heard the script, however he is yet to sign on the dotted line. If all goes as planned then Vijay and Nawaz will lock horns in Thalapathy 65.”

Nawazuddin has two other exciting scripts in his kitty at the moment. He will be sharing the screen with Tamannaah Bhatia in Bole Chudiyan, which is being directed by his brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui. The actor will also star in the upcoming American-Indian-Bangladeshi drama No Land's Man, which has been directed and written by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki.
