Noti Binodini: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Starrer Delayed Due To Pandemic, Director Pradeep Sarkar May Shoot Another Film In Between

It's been some time since we had seen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan cast her spell on the big screen. We had been elated about the fact that she would be teaming up with Pradeep Sarkar next for the biopic of theatre actress, Noti Binodini. But fans would have to wait a little longer for that since the film has been pushed due to the pandemic.

According to a report in Mid-Day, the film has been pushed to 2021 due to the pandemic. The director has confirmed that the film would now go on floors in March and said, "The writing is in progress. While Aishwarya has given her nod, I have not approached other actors because I am waiting for the crisis to [end]. I hope the vaccine is developed by March so that we can start shooting."

In fact, the director is also planning to start with another film before he kicks off the Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer. He added, "These two scripts (one of a psychological thriller and other of a dark comedy) are ready and bound, but I am unable to give proper narrations to actors over Zoom calls. So, we are waiting for things to open up. Before Binodini, we may [focus] on one of them."
