Pathan: Shah Rukh Khan And John Abraham To Shoot High Octane Action Sequences Inside The Burj Khalifa?

There would hardly be anyone who is not excited about Shah Rukh Khan's next, Pathan. The film, helmed by Siddharth Anand, would be shot in Dubai and reports suggest that it would boast of some really high octane action sequences. In fact, SRK will be pitted against John Abraham in this one. Now, more details about the action sequences have come to the forefront.

Reports suggest that the team would be shooting the sequences inside Burj Khalifa! Yes, you read that right. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham are set to shoot action-packed scenes at Burj Khalifa. The actors are at war in the film and their stunt doubles have been filming some intense and elaborate chase sequences on the streets of Dubai. This past weekend, they were shooting at Coca Cola Arena with moving cars and buses. Now, they will move to Burj Khalifa and we can expect some Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol level scenes. They will be shooting inside the tower unlike most of the Bollywood films that have been shot outside of the tallest building!”

Another source told Pinkvilla, “It’s car, bike, guns, blasts, hand to hand combats – get ready for action, that’s sleek and stylish, at international repute in Pathan. However, all the details of this Burj Khalifa fight scene have been kept under wraps.”

An international stunt team has been designated for the sequences and with the best people in the industry carrying it out, we are pretty sure it would come out beyond what we are even expecting! The film will reportedly release on Diwali this year, though an official confirmation is yet to be made.
