Updated : September 30, 2020 07:41 PM ISTActor Payal Ghosh has accused filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexual misconduct an incident that she says took place five years ago. Earlier today, Mumbai Police has summoned Anurag Kashyap after she filed an FIR against him. Recently, Payal also took to her Twitter handle to share screenshots of her deleted tweets from 2018 where she mentioned her meeting with a “famous director” who had told the actress that being “physically friendly” was the criteria to get work.

In order to prove that she has raised her voice regarding the issue earlier too but was silenced, Ghosh took to Twitter on Tuesday and tweeted, “ My few posts during #metoo movement which was been deleted by my manager and family, I will make sure to rename #metooindia to something else because #metooindia is fake and slave to influencial people.”

Apart from talking about being forced to delete her #MeeToo posts. Payal also shared the screenshots of the alleged chat between her kin and manager. She further tweeted. “My manager's message to my family because he was scared of Bollywood’s dalle.”
After her post garnered attention on social media, several netizens came out in support of the actress but a few accused her of ‘photoshopping’ the screenshots. The users pointed out the date mentioned at the bottom of the tweets. According to the screenshots, the tweets dated to 2561 BE. Here are some reactions.

Meanwhile, according to ANI Anurag has been asked to appear at Versova Police station on October 1 at 11 am by the Mumbai police in regard to the alleged sexual assault complaint.
