Prassthanam Actor Satyajeet Dubey’s Mother Tests Positive For COVID-19, Sanjay Dutt Her Get A Bed In The Hospital

The current situation of coronavirus outbreak has become scarier than we had imagined. The number of cases are going up with every passing day and  with the limited health facility available, it has become a nightmare for many to get tested and even get a bed if one tests positive. Something similar happened to actor Satyajeet Dubey’s mother. She had tested positive for COVID-19, but faced an ordeal to get admitted to a hospital. Finally, Sanjay Dutt, with whom the actor worked in Prassthanam, came to his rescue!

Satyajeet took to social media to reveal what happened. He said that while he and his sister are asymptomatic, their mother tested positive for the novel disease. He said, “ As a son, I wanted to give her the best in terms of comfort. But, if you go through the normal channel, it’s next to impossible to find a bed in hospitals right now. Thank God for the kind of work I do, and the people I work with — I had to call a few people and pull some strings, and people were kind enough to say, ’You don’t worry about it, we will help’, and they did.” Yes, Sanjay Dutt helped him find a bed in Nanavati Hospital, as did Alia Fazal, Tisca Chopra and Zoa Morani, who had tested positive for the virus herself sometime ago but has now recovered completely!

For now, the actor and his sister are in complete isolation. We pray for their mother’s speedy recovery. We also wonder what the aam janta would have to go through if the situation has reached to this level for celebs!
