Food safety and hygiene is the top most priority of every restaurant and hotel. Even though the food safety laws exist but still there are many restaurants and hotels that hardly care about the health and hygiene of its customers. And one such incident took place with Priyanka Chopra’s sister Meera Chopra who witnessed such neglectfulness at a 5-star Hotel.
Recently, Meera Chopra stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton in Ahemdabad, and we are quite sure that she wouldn’t have imagined that she’ll be served maggots in her food.
Meera took to her Instagram handle and slammed the hotel for their sheer negligence, by sharing the video, she said, 'Staying in @doubletree in Ahmedabad. @doubletreeahmedabad And got maggots in my food. U pay bomb fr these hotels nd they feed u maggots. It's so shocking @fssai_safefood plz take some immediate action. Where are the health safety regulations now!! #maggots #doubletreebyhilton'
In the video, we can see the worms crawling on Meera’s plate in which her food was served. Immediately after the video went viral on social media, her fans showed her their support. Comments like “This is unacceptable. You should raise the concern to the authorities immediately”, “Sad to know that you’d to go through this. Did the hotel care to clarify and apologize”
On the professional front, Meera Chopra’s first debut film was in a South Indian film in the year 2016. She made an entry in Bollywood with 1920 London, along with Sharman Joshi. Recently she is gearing up for her next upcoming film outing is Article 375 where Meera will be seen opposite Richa Chaddha and Akshaye Khanna. She was also seen attending her sister Priyanka's Delhi Reception and shared photos from the event too
