Radhe: Jackie Shroff Talks About Playing Tiger’s Rumored GF Disha’s Brother; Says ‘My Character Brings Comic Relief’

Salman Khan’s much awaited action entertainer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai has finally released and most of his fans are absolutely loving it. While Bollywood’s Bhaijaan is seen as an undercover cop, Disha Patani has portrayed his love interest. Meanwhile, Jackie Shroff has played the role of his son Tiger Shroff’s girlfriend Disha’s brother. The brother-sister on-screen pair received mixed reactions from netizens and a particular scene featuring Jackie in Disha’s slinky dress has gone viral on social media, becoming the fodder for various memes.

In a chat with Mid Day, Jackie revealed that the age difference between his on-screen sister Disha and him did not even cross his mind. He shared, “Now that you brought it up I am thinking of my age.” The veteran star explained, “I go on set and you will see a different side of my personality. I mold myself as per the director’s needs. I don’t consider the relations. If we think about the emotion, we can’t work. Listen to your director, work and leave. If you are capable of working, walking, and acting, be grateful.”

The actor also talked about reprising a cop avatar in Radhe. He revealed that back when he played a cop in Ram Lakhan and Khalnayak, he had a police uniform in his wardrobe that he would wear and go to set because only the names of his characters would differ. He shared, “The role has stayed with me, and I choose to not change myself because I don’t want to tax my brains to get an Oscar. In Radhe, my character is the one who brings comic relief.”
