Raj Kundra Case: Gehana Vasisth claims she was asked to take businessman's name when she was arrested

Actress Gehana Vasisth has been one of the few people who have stood in support of businessman Raj Kundra after his arrest in the porn case. She was herself taken to custody with allegations of gang rape and filming porn earlier this year. Now, she has once again defended the businessman and said that Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra, who have recorded statements against Raj, are lying.

Talking to ETimes, Gehana, who has shot three films under Raj Kundra's app, revealed that when she was arrested in February, she was being presuurised to use Raj Kundra's name. She said, "Each time that I sat before the officers (when she was in custody), all they wanted to know was... Meri life mein kya chal raha hai. Nothing of worth about the case was asked. They kept saying, ‘Aap Raj Kundra ka naam lo, aapko chhod denge.’ I refused to do that." She further added that Poonam and Sherlyn are lying and said, "Raj has a business running from outside India. Hotshots was his app. Armsprime was his company that had created apps for Sheryln Chopra, Poonam Pandey, me, and others. All the girls who are alleging that they were pushed into it, particularly Sherlyn and Poonam, are lying. Poonam has been doing nude videos for years. Her husband and she have worked on so many videos. Poonam’s own app today has nothing to do with Armsprime. Whatever they create has nothing to do with Raj. They all feared being embroiled in the matter and so, they named Raj."

She further sided with what Shilpa Shetty had to say and added, "Shilpa is correct. The Hotshots app never had any content that could be classified as pornography. How can someone be associated with something that just does not exist. I believe Shilpa is correct when she's saying that she didn't know anything about the Hotshots app, this is based on my personal knowledge. As far as I know, Hotshots has never made any porn film, ever. Those were bold films, erotic films, hot films, but none of them were porn films."
