Rajkummar Rao Talks About The Times When He Had Rs. 18 In His Account

Rajkummar Rao is definitely one of the most loved actors in the country right now who has also witnessed substantial commercial success. In fact, he is one of the very few actors in Bollywood that you cannot put in a box. However, coming from a middle-class family in Gurgaon, Rajkummar Rao’s journey to the top has not been an easy one.

Recently, Rajkummar opened about the hard grind that he went through when he came to Mumbai to try his luck in Bollywood. He revealed, “I needed around 15-20000 every month to survive and there were times I would get a notification that I have only 18 rupees left in my account," said the actor to Pinkvilla. He also discussed the struggles he went through as he traveled in Mumbai on his bike and assumed rose water to be the best solution to look presentable for auditions.” Well, all we can say is all that hard work and perseverance have definitely paid off.

Talking about films, Rajkummar will be soon seen in Made In China opposite Mouni Roy and other films like Turram Khan with Nushrat Bharucha, Roohi Afza with Janhvi Kapoor, White Tiger with Priyanka Chopra are also in the pipeline.
