Rajkummar Rao to take Anubhav Sinha’s Bheed on floors tomorrow; honeymoon with Patralekhaa will have to wait

Since the past few weeks, many wedding rumors were doing the rounds. While some reports suggested that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are planning their destination wedding, others revealed details about Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s preparations for their D-Day. Much to our delight, one star couple did tie the nuptial knot and shared glimpses from their day of love on social media-- the much in love jodi, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa. Not only fans but even their friends from the industry were left gushing at their breathtakingly beautiful and happy wedding snaps.

But the newlyweds won’t be leaving for their honeymoon any time soon. According to a report shared by Mid Day, the actor is all set to dive into work just days after his wedding. He will be taking Anubhav Sinha’s social drama Bheed on floors tomorrow in Lucknow. A source revealed, “Anubhav sir had planned the schedule in such a way that Bheed can kick off immediately after Raj’s wedding. It is one of the director’s most ambitious movies to date. Given the milieu and setting of the film, he felt November and early December would be the best time to shoot it.”

The source went on to explain, “When the director discussed the schedule with Raj, he understood the time constraints and immediately agreed to honour the commitment before going on a honeymoon with Patralekhaa. The film, owing to its subject, is special to the actor; he was blown away by the script.” The report further revealed that reading sessions had begun in October and Rajkummar had already informed the team that he will be taking a week off for his wedding.

Bheed will mark Rajkummar and Bhumi’s second film together after the much awaited Badhaai Do.
