Ranbir Kapoor Finally Reacts To His Viral Pictures With Mahira Khan In New York!

Recently, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan was spotted with Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor on the streets of New York . They were seen smoking and indulging in a normal conversation. But these pictures went viral like wildfire and got a lot of flack for Mahira who was wearing a backless dress and smoking along with Ranbir. While many media outlets reported that these two are actually dating and there’s more than just friendship to this relationship, social media haters crossed their limits by criticising the actress for wearing a revealing dress and smoking cigarette. 

A lot of people trolled her and a few Bollywood actors like Parineeti Chopra and Pakistani singer/actor Ali Zafar came out in her support. Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor also explained that these two are just friends and had they been dating, Mumbai would know it before NY! 

NDTV got in touch with Ranbir Kapoor and in an interview he reacted on this entire fiasco. ”I’ve gotten to know Mahira in a personal capacity over the last few months. She is somebody who I admire and respect, for her achievements and even more for the person she is. It is very unfair the way she is being judged and spoken about. What is also sad is the inequality in judgment just because she is a woman. I request you to stop the negativity and move on with your beautiful god gifted lives. Peace and love.”

He signed off by saying, “ PS: Both smoking and hate are injurious to health.”
