Jewelry designer and Sussanne Khan’s sister Farah Khan Ali revealed that she reported the account and is thankful to Twitter for taking this decision, whereas filmmaker Reema Kagti told Bollywood Hungama that she hopes Twitter bans Rangoli’s account permanently. In a chat with the same portal, actress Kubbra Sait also stated that when you have so many followers, it’s important to conduct yourself and your words with responsibility.

But @MumbaiPolice @CMOMaharashtra @OfficeofUT This kind of hate mongering is irresponsible. Please look into it, and take necessary actions. https://t.co/WywccuZvKR

undefined src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" >I will be honest here. Rangoli has been a good friend in the past and I was frankly a bit surprised by the tone of some of her tweets. And I am not rejoicing with her suspension. I am in fact disappointed and sad that she had espoused such violence and divisive hate on her TL.

On the other hand, singer Sona Mohapatra was displeased with Twitter for taking this action. She shared, “While I might not subscribe to all their views,I also stand by their right to express them.” After facing backlash, she shared another post in which she called Rangoli’s tweet ‘hideous’ but also added that the tweet could have been ‘forced deleted’. Wrestler turned politician Babita Kumari Phogat also sided with Kangana’s sister and said that Twitter has started getting angry with people who speak the truth.

- Twitter could ‘force delete’ her hideously worded tweet. (Which I just saw)
- ‘Canceling’ her all together only invites more such hate. https://t.co/lO6qfMM6b5

Whatever happened to ‘make twitter safe for women’ @jack? #shame on @misskaul and other @Twitter employees. @Rangoli_A has done nothing wrong. pic.twitter.com/LwRv8EAbJQ
