Rhea Chakraborty Says Sushant Singh Rajput Hadn't Met His Father For Five Years, Claims Even His Mother Suffered From Depression

Rhea Chakraborty had been silent ever since Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on 14th June. Sushant's family has pointed fingers at the Jalebi actress and also accused her of isolating him from the family. Now, in an interview with India Today, she has revealed that his relationship with his father was sour when he was young and that his mother had also suffered from depression.

Talking to Rajdeep Sardesai, she revealed that Sushant's relationship with his father had been soured when he was young. She claimed that he was very close to his mother and when his father left her, he was heartbroken. That was the reason why he hadn't had a great relationship with him. In fact, she also claimed that when she had met Sushant, he hadn't even tried to meet his father in the last five years!

She also made a revelation that Sushant's mother had also been suffering from depression and that was why she passed away. She had mental health problems and her death affected Sushant the most. She also added that Sushant had consulted a psychiatrist long before he had met Rhea.

Rhea and Sushant met in April 2019 and had been together since. The CBI is currently probing into his death.
